The golf stimulus plan - Comments from the Clubshop at Triangle Custom Clubs…
Man is it getting tough out there…
Everywhere you turn, the economy is taking it’s
toll.
And Golf is no exception
Take the latest news from the LPGA tour - that The Ginn Resorts is
dropping their sponorship of this and the Champions tours.
Not only does this leave the touraments scrambling for sponsors but
it also takes millions of dollars in prize money off the table.
And Ginn also ended it’s sponorship of Christie Kerr.
Of course, golf is a game, but it’s also an industry.
And although I haven’t been keeping up that much with
the twists and turns of the stimulus plan, I don’t
think that golf is going to get much out of it.
Well, let’s see if I can help out a little…
If you know me, then you know that I build golf clubs
from components that I get exclusively from only two companies
One of those companies is Hireko Golf.
What you may not know is that they also build custom golf clubs!
OK, so why am I promoting a company that is basically the
competition?
Because my number one goal is to NOT to build your next set of
golf clubs. It’s to make sure you are an informed consumer of
golf clubs and accessories.
That’s why I’ve teamed up with Hireko Golf to offer you
a 10% discount on every custom golf club or set of clubs
that you buy from them.
How’s that for a golf stimulus plan?
Here’s all you need to do:
1. Go to the Hireko Golf website:
http://www.hirekogolf.com
2. Chose from their wide selection of great custom-built
golf clubs, each one 75% less than brand names.
3. When you checkout, use this coupon code to for your
10% discount:

If you have any questions, or need any help, just send me an
email.

I plan to add much more to this family of websites, such as balls, bags,

Take a look and let me know what you think…

Free Online Golf Tips | Buying Custom Made Golf Clubs
There comes a time in every serious golfer’s life when ponying up the cash in order to have a set of custom golf clubs made is a must.
It gets old very fast when you have to have your current set of golf clubs repaired because they don’t quite fit your playing style as they should, causing numerous problems on the course.
Having a set of custom golf clubs fitted to your needs is a fairly simple process. The three major factors that will be considered when having your new set of custom golf clubs fitted will be your height, your arm length, and swing speed.
And despite what you might hear, it doesn’t have to be expensive.
What I recommend you do is first head out to a place that has a good swing monitor and analysis system that will give you your swing speed and help you determine the type of loft you need. If you want, you can even learn what type of ball might be best for your game.
Then, take that information, along with your height, arm length, etc over to our website and fill out our custom fitting form. Fill it out and in a few days (or less) I can give you a custom fitting result (such as shaft flex, club length etc) as well as a price quote for a set of hand made custom golf clubs.
Try it - you’ll like it!

Free Online Golf Tips | Buying Used Golf Clubs
As a beginner golfer, you might want to consider buying used golf clubs as a starter set. Of course if you have the money to burn then go ahead and get a new set of clubs, but used golf clubs are more than appropriate for the majority of newcomers to the game. There are quite a few people, especially kids and teenagers, who play for a while but lose enjoyment and end up wasting those new clubs.
The main factors when buying any type of clubs, even used golf clubs, is to make sure that they fit close to your height, arm length, and swing speed. When buying used golf clubs, another important factor is how all of the drivers, irons, and putters feel in your hands and when you swing.
However, I would like to point out that if you can afford used clubs then you can probably afford a set of custom golf clubs from Triangle Custom Clubs.
Our clubs are custom made to your specifications, and are hundreds less than name brand clubs.
Another option would be to learn how to build your own golf clubs. If that interests you then take a look at this…

Yes, Golf IS a team sport!
A least it seemed to be this weekend during the Ryder Cup.
I’ve never seen so much fist pumping and jumping around since the USA women’s beach volleyball team won in the Olympics…
But it was very good to see the cup coming back to the USA. (my condolences to my European subscribers…)

Daddy’s got a brand new “groove”
Ok, so I have to admit - I’ve not really been following all the talk about the new groove rule in golf. But it seems that there’s nothing but controversy surrounding it.
But, really - do you care? I mean, the rule doesn’t seem to impact us weekend golfers until around 2024 - and I plan to be retired by then.
Oh wait - the last time I looked at my stocks, I probably won’t retire until I’m 99…
Anyway, I plan to do some research on this new groove and report back to you soon - for what it’s worth…

Wie goes back to school
Q-school that is…
Maybe this will get her head out of the “I’m gonna play with men” clouds and put her back on track to show everyone she is capable of living up to the potential everyone saw in her years ago…

My father the meth dealer…
Poor 17 year old Tadd Fujikawa. He’s trying to get his start as a professional golfer and the next thing you know his dad, Derrick is charged with running a meth lab in Hawaii.
He could face up to 40 years if convicted, and his trial starts next month.
Tadd has missed 6 cuts in PGA events this year, not to mention ones he missed on the European side.
Hopefully Tadd will work out the troubles in his game and realize that he had no control over the other troubles in his family.

Four in one is a new record.
This is a new record for PGA sponsored events…
During the first round of the Nationwide Tour Utah Championship four golfers each made a hole-in-one. Four aces in one day is a record.
Unfortunately for the golfers involved, none of them aced the right hole…
…if they had aced the par 3 11th hole the prize was a new Rolex watch.

How to improve your golf game, and the economy…
Have you been watching the meltdown on Wall Street?
Worried about your retirement account?
(I certainly am…) :-0
Well, in an attempt to get your mind off all that, I’ve decided to have a 2008 Golf Club Blowout sale.
It’s going on right now, and you can get all the details here:
I’ve reduced the prices on many of our most popular golf clubs, so that we can make room for the new 2009 clubs.
…and you can even see some of the new designs if you’re interested.
Hey, the golf season is almost over (officially anyway), and the news on TV is all bad - so why don’t you head over to the website and see how cheap it is to upgrade your
golf clubs?
You’d be helping your golf game and the economy too …at least my economy
(OK, that was uncalled for, but I own AIG stock, so have mercy on me, please!

P.S. Of course, there is always a catch, right?
Well, that’s true here as well. The catch is that I cannot predict when the inventory of the components used to custom make these clubs will run out, so I may have to end this sale at any time. So now’s your chance to get some great clubs at some great prices.
