LPGA = Language Prohibits Golfers from Asia

It’s been a rough few weeks for Ms Bivens and the LPGA.

First, she decides to that lady golfers must have better communication skills…

…which to the LPGA meant that golfers from Asia had to speak English. :-(

…Then they implemented a “plan” which was probably the worst bit of management I’ve ever seen…

..,Speak English or don’t play. That’s not much of a vision statment to me :-0

Anyway, before I could get out another What Do You Think post on the blog, Bivens and the LPGA reversed their decision to implement the language plan.

But that’s OK, because I have another (and better) What Do You Think question anyway. You can check it out below…

Spiderman finally wins, and V-Jay ignores the press?

All Vijay Singh needs to do is make the cut at the Tour Championship in two weeks and he gets a nice little $10 million paycheck. So why did he disc the press after the BMW?

Maybe he’s feeling the pressure of the next event and the big payoff?

Or was he upset at his 44th place finish?

Only time will tell, I guess.

In the meantime, Camilo Villegas was certainly smiling after winning his first PGA event and a respectable $1.25 million.

It appears that Tiger’s bad knee hasn’t affected other parts of this anatomy…

He and Elin are expecting child number 2… :-)

Should Golf be in the Olympics? You make the call…

As you probably already know, get top leaders in the golf world are lobbing the Olympic Committee to put golf in the games of 2016.

What you may not know is that there seems to be a difference of opinion as to whether or not that would be a good thing for golf.

Golfers like Phil Mickelson are all for it, while others like Ernie Els oppose it.

So what do you think? Should golf be included in the games? And why?

Is this the golf channel or animal planet?

First there was the bear, then the gopher. And now it’s “the bees”

Seems that Anthony Kim got in the path of a few bees while searching for his ball at the Barclays tournament.

He got what he deserved…

If you’ve been a subscriber to our free golf tips for a while you may remember a story I told you about a few months ago;

A pro golfer named Tripp Isenhour, was charged with killing a protected hawk while filming a golf video back in December. He killed the hawk by hitting him with a golf shot.

Well, he finally got his day in court, and pleaed no contest to the charge.

He agreed to one year probation, 100 hours of community service, court costs, and he has to attend an anger management class.

Now I know who Tiger can use for target practice when he starts swinging a club again.

Who Do You Think Should Be Golfer of The Year?

So, who do you think should be player of the year?

Should be be Padraig Harrington, who won two majors? (and then missed the last two cuts in the FedEx cup…)

Or should it be Vijay Singh, who will (probably) win the FedEx Cup? (so long as he makes the cut at the Tour Championship…)

Or should it be Tiger? who won wounded at the US Open?

Or maybe even Greg Norman? (OK, that was a stretch… :-) )

Put your comments in below and let us know What You Think.
